4th World Shiology Forum opens with grand ceremony

  On Oct 10,the 4th World Shiology Forum was held in Haikou,Hainan province.Former United Nations deputy secretary-general Liu Zhenmin read a congratulatory letter sent by United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to the forum.In the letter,Guterres congratulated the convening of the forum.

  The theme of this forum was"Systematic Governance of'Eat+Food'Issues Related to Sustainable Development(SDG)".More than 300 participants attended,including United Nations officials,political figures,experts,scholars,and entrepreneurs from many countries around the world.Among the attendees,there were scholars from 43 countries across six continents,11 ambassadors,two former United Nations deputy secretaries-general,and several Chinese academicians.

  During the opening ceremony of the forum on the morning of 10,entrepreneurs who have been outstanding in the implementation of sustainable development were awarded.

  Chairman Xu Guohua of Xuji Sea Food Co has received several honors and delivered a speech on behalf of entrepreneurs during the opening ceremony.He said,"Ocean resources are a precious wealth for all humanity.Xuji Sea Food has always regarded sustainability as a core development concept in its business operations,and has thrived to promote the sustainable development of the entire industry.”

  Xu's speech was agreed upon by entrepreneurs and guests who attended the event,and it has also become a model of cooperation between companies and governments,as well as collaboration between companies and global professional organizations.

  The forum has attracted attention from various governments,institutions,and corporations.It is viewed as a high-end international dialogue platform for decision makers,industry leaders,and professionals from various countries.The platform aims to provide comprehensive and professional references,and contributes wisdom and strength to promote the global development of food and catering.
